Hewlett-Packard Co. said last week that it will offer a new, low-cost, easy-to-use line of digital signage players aimed at small- and medium-sized businesses to deploy in a single location or across a small network.

The HP SignagePlayer mp8000s, an ultra-slim desktop unit, and the mp8000r, a small form factor model, will help SMBs to "quickly and affordably deploy full-featured digital signage solutions," said Bob Rosenberry, HP manager, Visual Solutions, Retail Solutions Global Business Unit. Read more...
