Kaspersky Hires New Channel Head, Two Marketing Execs
Anti-virus vendor taps Christopher Doggett to oversee channels in North America.
Kaspersky Lab, a maker of anti-virus software, said that it has hired three new executives, namely, a new head of North America channel sales, an executive to handle business-to-consumer (B2C) marketing and another for business-to-business (B2B) marketing.
The developer said that Christopher Doggett, formerly vice president of sales at Financial Recovery Technologies, a Medford, MA-based specialist in class action settlements, will take over as channel sales vice president, tasked with overseeing Kaspersky’s North America channel sales organization. He will report to Nancy Reynolds, corporate sales senior vice president.
Reynolds called Doggett’s hire “a prime example of Kaspersky Lab’s continued commitment to the channel.”
Kaspersky also said it has hired Chris Gaebler, a specialist in customer experience management, as North America vice president, B2C marketing, a position that includes supporting the vendor’s retail channels and growing its e-commerce business. Prior to joining Kaspersky, Gaebler held senior marketing positions at Pulsepoint, a New York-based digital media marketing company, Sony Electronics, and Accenture.
Gaebler will report to Steve Orenberg, Kaspersky North America president.
Jean Lozano, Kaspersky’s new vice president, B2B marketing for North America, will handle marketing for the channel, field sales, and online, and also report to Orenberg. She most recently served as Trend Micro Inc.’s U.S. senior marketing director and sports a 10-year track record working with the channel, field and corporate marketing.
“Chris and Jean both have years of relevant industry experience between them, but more importantly, they have a solid vision of how the IT Security sector is evolving,” Orenberg said.
