F5 Networks Wants More Security Channel Partners
New Vault program offers financial incentives, rewards and training to channel partners closing deals for vendor’s data center firewall technology and security bundle.
F5 Networks Inc., a maker of devices to smooth application delivery, said that it is offering incentives and training to spark channel partners to promote its line of network, application, data and access security solutions to enterprise customers.
The vendor said that its new Vault incentive package, part of its Unity partner program, is important because it conveys to the channel and customers the vendor’s strategy to meld application, data and user security into one overall plan.
“With Vault, we’ve created a program that reflects F5’s commitment to providing solutions that bring together the network, applications, data, and users under one unified security strategy,” said Dean Darwin, F5 senior vice president, Worldwide Partner Organization.
The Vault program’s first of two options, called F5 Elevate, rewards Unity Platinum, Global, Gold and Silver channel partners for initiating and closing sales opportunities for F5 security solutions with earned points redeemable on pre-paid MasterCard accounts.
In addition, F5 is doling out special sales incentives for channel partners selling the vendor’s F5’s data center firewall solution and a new security bundle featuring its BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM), Application Security Manager (ASM), and Access Policy Manager (APM).
“Enterprises are squarely focused on securing their IT infrastructures, and Vault gives F5’s channel partners an incredible opportunity to drive new business, increase their technical aptitude, and enjoy rewards for joint sales engagements,” Darwin said.
Mark Greer, chief operating officer at Milestone Systems Inc., a Minneapolis, MN-based value-added integrator, said that Vault program will help the company expand its security practice.
“Vault represents a great opportunity for Milestone Systems to increase our footprint in the security market and deliver greater value to our customers,” said Greer.
