Kaspersky Labs Signs Distribution Agreement with Ingram Micro for Security Solutions
Vendors says deal will strengthen its VAR and SI network in the U.S., help it to reach new corporate customers.
Kaspersky said that Ingram is well-suited to help it expand its channel partner base and, correspondingly, extend its reach into mid-sized and large enterprise organizations.
The vendor, which only sells through channel partners, said that the deal will allow resellers previously unable to sell its software to purchase products exclusively from Ingram.

Under terms of the agreement, Ingrams Advanced Technology Division and its Networking/Security Business unit will assume marketing, sales and support responsibility for Kasperskys Open Space Security, its portfolio of corporate security solutions.
"Kaspersky Lab's portfolio of security solutions is a great addition to Ingram Micro's Networking/Security Business Unit, said Eric Kohl, Ingram senior director, Advanced Technology Division.
Over the years we've seen an increased demand from our channel partners for Kaspersky Lab's technology, he said.
