Tech Data Corp. said it has named Angela Beltz-Norrie as vice president of its Cisco Solutions Group, a unit that includes sales, marketing and technical personnel assigned to support the vendor’s equipment and services.

“Angie brings a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, purchasing, logistics and channel operations to her new role,” said Chuck Bartlett, Tech Data vice president and general manager, Advanced Infrastructure Solutions.

Beltz-Norrie will report to Bartlett.

“Under her leadership, we will continue to build upon our best-in-class support for Cisco solutions, which are an integral component of our Advanced Infrastructure Solutions Division’s growing data center practice,” Bartlett said.

Tech Data said that prior to her new position, Beltz-Norrie directed the distributor's Major Accounts Sales Division and was a member of the management team of its Integrated Supply Chain Services Division and Consumer Technology Group. She has been with the company for more than 10 years.

Tech Data’s Cisco Solutions group, launched last year, is one of five such units housed under the distributor’s Advanced Infrastructure Solutions division focused on data center solutions. Additional teams are dedicated to vendors Hewlett-Packard Co., IBM Corp., and software and storage solutions.

The Cisco unit includes inside and field sales professionals and systems engineers, business development, channel marketing and product management specialists, who consult with in-house and field-based Cisco representatives, supporting solutions such as traditional networking, indoor and outdoor wireless, unified communications, the Unified Computing System, video and security.
