Ingram Micro Names New Head for Managed Services, Cloud Computing DivisionBy D.H. KassSeptember 3, 2010 Ingram Micro Inc. has named Renée Bergeron as its vice president of managed services and cloud computing for North America, effective September 8, 2010. Bergeron, who is tasked with advancing sales and development of Ingrams services unit, will report to Paul Bay, Ingram executive vice president. In succeeding Justin Crotty, who left Ingram in early July to join NetEnrich Inc., a San Jose, CA-based provider of infrastructure management services, Bergeron will take the reins of the distributors Services Network, Seismic services portfolio and Cloud Conduit Initiative and Advisory Council. The Ingram Micro Services Division remains uncontested in the distribution landscape and continues to be one of the most valuable, revenue-building resources available to our channel partners in the U.S. and Canada, Bay said. Bay said that Bergeron will be expected to expand the distributor's existing IT services offerings. Under Renée Bergerons leadership, we will build upon our success and expand our reach as the IT industrys master aggregator of professional, managed and cloud computing IT services and support offerings, he said. Prior to joining Ingram, Bergeron oversaw Fujitsus $300 million IT services business with a focus on virtualization and cloud computing.
