Rohati sells a network-entitlement control solution called Transaction Networking System (TNS) which handles user access based on per-transaction policies across multiple applications. Last August, the company announced a virtualized cloud security initiative in which it extended its on-premise security solutions to virtualized servers and off-premise cloud environments. Gandhi and Anant Thakar, Rohati co-founder, are among a number of former Cisco employees who will be returning to the fold once the transaction is finalized. Rohati, founded in 2006, is based in Sunnyvale, CA. The company maintains more than 50 employees, 25 percent of which are software engineers.
