SAP AG said that it has promoted Kevin Gilroy to head its global indirect channels, tasked with building out its channels and improving the company’s indirect revenue worldwide through key partners.

Gilroy joined SAP two years ago after a stint as president of Arrow Inc. Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) unit to develop sales strategies to grow small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sales in North America. He is reporting directly to Eric Duffaut, SAP president, Global Ecosystem & Channels.

John Graham, SAP senior vice president, Volume Markets & Public Sector and a 10-year company veteran, reportedly has assumed Gilroy’s channel responsibilities in North America, particularly for developing strategies to generate revenue opportunities with SMEs, OEMs, distributors, system integrators, channel partners and third-party vendors, according to his biography. Graham reports to Robert Courteau, SAP North America president.

Gilroy spent 24 years at Hewlett-Packard Co., most prominently as senior vice president of HP's worldwide small- and medium-sized business (SMB) unit.
