SAP Ups Gilroy to Global Channel Chief
Former Arrow and HP exec tasked with business development and sparking global indirect revenue through key SAP partners. SAP AG said that it has promoted Kevin Gilroy to head its global indirect channels, tasked with building out its channels and improving the company’s indirect revenue worldwide through key partners. Gilroy joined SAP two years ago after a stint as president of Arrow Inc. Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) unit to develop sales strategies to grow small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sales in North America. He is reporting directly to Eric Duffaut, SAP president, Global Ecosystem & Channels. Gilroy spent 24 years at Hewlett-Packard Co., most prominently as senior vice president of HP's worldwide small- and medium-sized business (SMB) unit.
