Ingram Micro Adds Kaseya, Symantec, Trend Micro to Cloud Lineup

Distributor Ingram Micro Inc. said that it has added Kaseya International Ltd.’s IT Center remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform, Symantec Corp.’s Backup Exec.cloud and Trend Micro Inc.’s Deep Security to its lineup of cloud solutions.

Ingram said that it has positioned the three new cloud-based solutions, in addition to Symantec’s Endpoint Protection.cloud and Trend Micro’s Worry-Free Business Security Services, as evidence to channel partners of its Service Division’s growing cloud portfolio.

"The addition of these new solutions to our cloud portfolio, plus the upcoming launch of our transactional, online Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace, sets the stage for continued IT services growth in 2012 and beyond," said Renee Bergeron, Ingram vice president, managed services and cloud computing.

The distributor opened the Ingram Micro Cloud unit about one year ago to offer cloud solutions and best practices to help channel partners proactively identify and address customers’ IT issues.

"The Ingram Micro Cloud has announced 12 new vendor relationships and brought to market more than 25 new cloud solutions in the last nine months," said Bergeron.
