Belkin Offers Upgrade to Channel Partner Program

Router, peripherals and accessories maker brings new marketing, training and incentives to partners.

Belkin International Inc., a maker of routers, peripherals and accessories for a wide variety of equipment and devices, last week issued an upgrade to its channel program that tiers partners into four levels and provides new marketing, training and financial incentives.

The vendor’s revamped channel program, called Partner Advantage, segments channel partners into Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, and offers varying marketing support, training, sales incentives and market development funds at each tier. Market development funds and rebates are available based on volume sales.

In addition, the program offers discounts on demonstration units, access to a partner hotline and chat support, and Belkin sponsored promotions and contests.

A Belkin official said that the vendor is committed to supporting channel partners for its array of products, including secure and desktop keyboard-video-mouse switches, cables and surge protectors. The vendor aims its products at government agencies, enterprise organizations and the healthcare and education segments.

"We understand and appreciate the role that solution providers and VARs play in our success and have launched our new partner program to provide enhanced support of the channel and a host of new marketing, training and incentive opportunities," said Cliff Unger, Belkin director, enterprise sales and marketing.

En-Net Services, Frederick, MD-based provider of IT products to federal agencies, issued support for the Belkin program.

"Our team has utilized many of the partner benefits that Belkin provides and they are consistently one of our most profitable and supportive vendors,” said Kyle Yost, En-Net partner.
