N-able Technologies, a maker of remote monitoring and management (RMM) software, said that the number of small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) managed by its network of managed service providers (MSPs) has spiked to some 47,000 worldwide since January, 2010, an increase of 150 percent. The vendors also said that the number of devices under management by its channel partners has ballooned by about 175 percent during the same time period. The company sells exclusively through its network of channel partners. Over the last 18 months, N-ables global MSP partner base has experienced unprecedented growth in both new and incremental business using many of the best practices, tools and technologies weve pioneered and continue to bring to market, says Gavin Garbutt, N-able chief executive. Garbutt credit the vendors products, sales model and go-to-market strategy for the vendors solid growth.
