Oracle Partners Gain Linux Specialization60 resellers, hosting companies, system integrators and education providers completed Oracle Linux specialization in last four months. Oracle Corp. said that in the past four months some 60 partners, including resellers, hosting companies, system integrators and education providers have achieved specialization in Oracle Linux through the vendors PartnerNetwork. The vendor also said that thousands of partners currently are lined up to attain the Oracle Linux specialization. Specialists are well-versed in developing and implementing solutions that include Oracle Linux and can differentiate themselves based on that distinction to become preferred solution providers to customers. Many customers today are looking to Oracle Linux to offer a cost-effective, high-performance and scalable platform for their critical business applications, said Jeff Doolan, Oracle director, Linux and Virtualization Channels. By combining Oracle technology and support with the expertise of our specialized partners, we are enabling customers to take advantage of the latest innovations and performance enhancements in Linux at substantially lower cost and risk, he said.
