Ingram Micro Demos HP BladeSystem Matrix at Solution Center

Ingram Micro Inc. said that it will make available for demonstration purposes Hewlett-Packard Co.’s BladeSystem Matrix at its Solution Center in Buffalo, NY.

The distributor also said that it hosted an infrastructure training and education event on April 5 – 6 on HP’s Converged Infrastructure architecture.

HP’s BladeSystem Matrix is the vendor’s integrated Infrastructure platform for shared services that it positions especially for private cloud deployments.

The solution is handled by Ingram’s Advanced Computing Division and sold through the distributor’s roster of channel partners.

“The HP BladeSystem Matrix is an all-in-one converged infrastructure solution that brings the benefits of shared services to life and makes it easier for channel partners to establish a private cloud for small and mid-sized businesses, as well as enterprise players,” said Fran Murello, Ingram senior engineer.

“It’s a great conversation starter for discussing the business value of converged infrastructure and cloud computing and now that it’s available for demo within the Ingram Micro Solution Center, channel partners can show their customers and prospects firsthand the technology in action,” he said.

Ingram said that in addition to the demo facilities channel partners have access to technology and business training and education seminars, boot camps, webinars, custom configuration services, technical support, pre- and post-sales support, and co-branded marketing collateral.
