Pareto Networks Names New Top Executive, Offers Channel Partner ProgramCloud-based networking vendor taps former McAfee exec to top post. Pareto Networks Inc., a Sunnyvale, CA-headquartered provider of cloud-based networking, said that it has hired Daniel Ryan as president and chief executive, a month after initiating a channel partner program. Ryan, who previously served as McAfee Inc.'s executive vice president and general manager, network security business, said that he was "drawn to Pareto's unique position to drive complexity and large capital investments out of the network and accelerate an enterprise's ability to securely scale their distributed network." Pareto, which launched operations in 2007, offers enterprise cloud services aimed at streamlining networking and security in corporate branch offices, using a pay-as-you-go subscription model starting at $228 per location, per year, for up to 30 users.
