VMWare - Accountants IncAccountants Inc. is a 350 person firm that provides companies with temporary or permanent financial talent, as needed. The challenge that Accountants Inc., were facing was that the company needed to move beyond the limitations of the single-server to single-application model they had been using. IBM - Svenska HandelsbankenBased in Stockholm, Svenska Handelsbanken is a major bank in Sweden, with 459 domestic branches, as well as branches in the Nordic countries, United Kingdom and Asia. Svenska Handelsbanken offers traditional corporate transactions, investment banking and trading, consumer banking and life insurance services. The challenge the company was facing was that it needed to find a way to work more effectively with clients located remotely. To meet this complex challenge, Cambridge Southern Financial Advisors decided to implement Citrix GoToMeeting. ADTRAN-Citizens National BankThe Citizens National Bank opened its doors in 1973, originally serving residents of Sevierville, Tennessee and surrounding areas. The company was facing several technological challenges, which eventually led to the Citizens National Banks implementation of numerous ADTRAN technologies. The bank had an aging network that was in need of an upgrade. Citizens National Bank also wanted to increase performance and extend service to an ATM location using non-traditional means. Intel-Barton Mutual GroupLike every insurance company, the Barton Mutual Group must store a large amount of financial data about its customers. This data must be able to be retrieved quickly, and it must be stored safely and securely. The Barton Mutual Group wanted to update their data storage system and disaster recovery solution to incorporate virtualization and safeguard important client information. Intel-Chapman & ChapmanChapman & Chapman is a family-owned business that provides insurance and financial services to both corporations and individuals. The challenge the company was facing was that their four-year old legacy storage solution was outdated. In addition, the older server that was the backbone of the companys storage system was beginning to show signs of failure. Chapman & Chapman required a new solution that would maximize employee productivity and have a lower total cost of ownership. Voltage Security-Integro Insurance BrokersIntegro is an insurance brokerage and risk management firm that specializes in providing complex risk management solutions. Before the company opened its doors in 2005, they had to plan their IT strategy and architecture. For Integro, one of the highest priorities was to have an e-mail system that would allow for secure communication between clients, partners, and internal staff. Business Objects-Allied Irish BanksAllied Irish Banks (AIB) is Irelands leading bank and financial services organization. The major challenge this large financial organization was facing was that their current activity-based management (ABM) software did not provide the level of insight desired about the end-to-end process costs of common business activities, such as processing and managing loans. PGP-BNP ParibasServing more than 85 countries and employing roughly 150,000, BNP Paribas has one of the largest international banking networks worldwide. With the help of PGP authorized distributor Hermitage Solutions, BNP Paribas deployed PGP Universal Gateway E-mail to secure electronic communications and PGP Universal Server to centrally manage the e-mail encryption solution. PGP-BRALBased in London, BRAL Limited is part of an independent firm of chartered accountants known as the Blick Rothenberg group. Clients throughout the world trust BRAL to handle their financial administration, management accounting, payroll, and other business-related tasks. The challenge BRAL was facing was that they needed to upgrade their e-mail system. Because customers send sensitive financial and payroll information to BRAL through e-mail, they felt an encryption service was essential. Some clients even stated they would not do business with BRAL unless they had an effective encryption solution in place.
