Axis Communications - Oconto Unified School District


The Oconto Unified School District is comprised of the city of Oconto and four adjacent Wisconsin townships. It consists of three educational institutions: a high school, an elementary school, and a middle school. In 2008, Oconto’s Board of Education revised its security policy. As a result, the school district’s officials needed to find an integrated surveillance system that would improve the safety of students, visitors, employees, and volunteers. Specifically, they wanted a solution that would allow schools to identify visitors and control door locks remotely.

Axis Communications - The Art Institute of Chicago


Art Institute of Chicago is considered one of the best fine arts museums in the entire country. This renowned museum is home to more than 260,000 pieces of artwork, including paintings by several of the recognized masters of Impressionist and American art. While a new modern art wing was being constructed, the Department of Protection Services evaluated the museum’s current analog surveillance system. They decided to upgrade the current system, and concluded that a flexible, state-of-the-art IP-based system would be the best solution.
