Greene County considered products from SonicWall and Cisco, but decided that the best solution was the Astaro Security Gateway because it was affordable and had all of the features the Greene County agency wanted. The software appliance was easily deployed on one of the agencys low end desktops. RReplacing the wireless router with the Astaro Security Gateway has saved the agency roughly five hours per week in monitoring and troubleshooting. The programs reporting and logging features have cut down on the time that must be spent monitoring network activities. Bandwidth and network usage can be tracked more easily, allowing for swift problem identification and rectification.
