Technology: Citrix Presentation Server running on one Dell server, Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Dell PCs and laptops.

Solution: CambridgeSoft Corp had increased its off-shoring operations and needed to accelerate file tranfers between remote offices, offshore contractors and field staff.

 It turned to Focus Technology to implement a Citrix Application Delivery Infrastructure solution to optimize the WAN for about 130 office employee users. The WANScaler solution provided an eight-fold increase in application performance in file transfers between its U.S. and U.K. offices. The implementation also supports the company strategy of growth, decentralization and offshoring and has improved worker productivity and satisfaction. The compression features of WANScaler improved the company's 2 Mbps WAN link now  to an average effective throughput of 7 Mbps.
