N-able Technologies Making Headway in Midmarket Verticals

N-able Technologies, a provider of remote network and systems management (NSM) software aimed at IT departments and managed service providers (MSP), said that its software toolset--comprised of its N-central, N-compass, Endpoint Security Manager and Remote Environment Manager--is making noticeable headway among education, finance and health care mid-market customers.

Officials credited the vendor's flagship N-central software, an upgrade to its N-compass reporting software and a concentrated marketing effort on mid-sized business accounts with lifting interest in and demand for its remote monitoring and management solutions.

The resulting benefits for channel partners is readily apparent in the numbers, according to Gavin Garbutt, N-able president and chief executive.

"On average, our sales teams, in conjunction with our channel partners, are experiencing a 90 percent close ratio and a 45-to-90-day sales cycle on the vertical market leads generated from our mid-market program," Garbutt said.

Garbutt also said that N-able's participation in EDUCAUSE, a non-profit association whose mission is to advance higher education through intelligent use of information technology, has helped the vendor gain insight into market needs, lift N-central brand awareness and build stronger community relationships.

"To effectively sell NSM technology and managed IT services into a specialized marketplace, you have to roll up your sleeves and get to know the dynamics behind the businesses," Garbutt said.
